Proxim RangeLAN2 Access Point

From Misc Data Digs

This is a pre-802.11 wireless access point device, but it is actually a fully featured PC with a FT-386BL from Forcom. While the wireless ports are fairly obvious, disassembling it reveals a 3.5 inch/8.9 cm floppy drive. The motherboard itself contains a fully functioning 386. There is no video included, though space is on the motherboard for Cirrus Logic chipsets. A keyboard port is present, but is blocked off by a metal bar.

In addition, there are debug print-outs the driver has that are normally not visible, as the driver is stored on a floppy, which is stored in the inaccessible floppy drive.
