Hidden Messages[edit | edit source]

Hidden in EDEN.EXE is this long message at 0x38AE4:

GUYS!! Believe it? This is an hidden message. I always put hidden messages in my demos on Atari, I don't know why I should stop now that I'm on PC, huh? What should I speak about? Code? Music? Life? Love? Björk? Iceland? If you're here to rip my work, ow-ow, then go on and have fun. That's not really a smart way to progress, but you're the lame one. Oh... I just would like to point out the fact that I always gave my sources to people on Atari, even the most technical ones with some mixed-perverted-cursed code, kind of code a stupid PC coder can't even imagine. (You know, that's what happen when you mix fullscreen, sync-scrolling, automodified code, generated sprites and realtime delta-packed flat 3D, with video screen in the very low memory, killing ST vectors, just to address it in word instead of dword. Come on boys! If you think mapping is difficult to code, you're just fucking wrong!!!) Anyway: if you need something, you can ask. Quite simple. Courtesy of an old demomaker...

Plus this message at 0x62A64. Not that holding the F1 key does not appear to do anything:

Hidden stuff! There actually is one in SHIAN LEE. You should try keeping the F1 key pushed just after the first video sequence, I guess..... Oh, yes, there may also be some cheat codes for EDEN
